The in's and out's of blogging

To me, blogging is one of the best ways to get your ideas out to the world. You can write about anything, directed towards anyone, and just about always find an interested reader somewhere out in the vastness of the internet. That is one of the things that makes me excited to start this project. Not only the freedom of writing, but the ability to reach all interested readers, and bring to life some discussion involving issues and ideas I feel strongly about. The only downside I see to blogging might be the idea of keeping length to a minimum. Often when I write about something I am passionate about, I tend to ramble on and on like a broken record. It will be interesting to see, as this class progresses, how I am able to get my point across, or report on a story, and make the finished product short and sweet and to the point.
